June 19, 1865, was the date when the last of America's enslaved population learned of their freedom,
two and a half years after they were legally emancipated.
Juneteenth honors the end of slavery in the United States and is considered the longest-running African American holiday.
At Faith Church, we join together as brothers and sisters to celebrate freedom for ALL because we believe that Black lives matter.
Below you will find local Juneteenth Events. We encourage you to get involved!

“The celebration of Juneteenth is a multi-cultural recognition of the triumph of the human spirit over the cruelty of slavery. For African-Americans, it is a tribute to the strength, endurance and faith of their ancestors. For all of America it is a reminder that none of us is free until all of us are free!”
