Sierra Leone Missionary & Christian Workers Retreat

Since 2017, Faith Church has had the privilege of hosting an annual retreat for missionaries, Christian workers, and their families serving in Sierra Leone. What began as a small conference to encourage a few missionaries has grown into a life-changing retreat, providing rest, connection, and spiritual renewal for those who dedicate their lives to sharing the gospel.

We are humbled to be part of how God is working in the beautiful country of Sierra Leone.

Retreat Highlights

In 2023, we launched a Youth Retreat for the children of missionary families attending the yearly retreat. Sixteen young people, ages 9 to 16, spent two days connecting with each other and growing in their faith.

In 2024, we welcomed eighteen children, including returning attendees and three new faces. The bonds formed in the previous year were strengthened, and the kids quickly reconnected with our team and each other. This retreat provides a safe space for these young people to deepen their relationship with God and build friendships that will support them as they navigate the unique challenges of missionary life.

Your prayers for their spiritual and physical health are greatly appreciated each year.

Support the Sierra Leone Retreats

Your generosity makes a lasting impact on missionaries, Christian workers, and their families in Sierra Leone. In 2025, our goal is to extend the Missionary and Christian Workers Retreat to a two-night event, offering even more time for rest, reflection, and connection. We also continue to support the Youth Retreat, providing young people a safe space to grow in their faith and build meaningful friendships.
